Welcome. This is the first of what I hope many will find a useful and interesting blog about prayer. I’m a Christian so I’ll naturally take a Christian slant but I not opposed to looking at prayer concepts from Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist or even pagan viewpoints - as long as those viewpoints don’t totally go against the grain of my own belief.

I’ll be writing more in the days to come to tell you about where I want to go with this blog. Oh, we’ll take some twists and turns as readers will have a bit of say in that but generally we’ll go where I lead (it’s my dance, after all ;-).

I’ll leave you with this link and these questions to think about: who do you pray to? why? do you expect a “positive” answer every time or are you just hedging your bets? do you pray for only “big stuff” or for everything, even the “small stuff”?
